Through her research about moving older foster babies, Mom discovered that we should probably wait three to six weeks before seeing Halle. We waited three weeks and one day. We were very glad to see her.

And I think she was quite glad to see us as well.

Good visit.

(And this was my 300th post.)

Happy 300th post! Thanks for being the historian for our family. We are very fortunate to have you.
Mom
Hi Callie,
My name is Yvonne and you don't know me personally but I met you and your family at Halle's adoption ceremony at Agape. I mentioned how I meet Cande as she was the foster mom for my son. Your father mentioned your blogspot and I came here to show my husband some of the beautiful pictures you all took of Halle. I just thought I would say hello, because while I visited your site, I was so inspired, that I have decided to start a blog! You also inspired my husband to discuss fostering. We have always wanted to adopt, because we never knew how we could handle the thought of a child leaving. I think you and your family are truely Godsent and have are an amazing gift to the children God places in your life. I know that it is hard to do what you do, but you are truely a blessing.
Mom, you're just saying that because I almost threw my computer and camera out the window last week during all of the Halle picture chaos. But thanks. And you're welcome.
Yvonne, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so glad you were able to attend Halle's ceremony last week. I'm impressed you remembered the address of my blog! And good luck with starting your own! I know God will bless you and your husband as you discuss the possiblity of foster care and help you make the right decisions. Let us know if you ever have any questions! My parents have a lot of experience in that area!
