Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has had a blessed day.
I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with my family today. We had a great Thanksgiving at home this year. My older brother Jared and his family came to town, and my grandmother spent the day with us. We missed our dear Paw Paw, but are so thankful to know that he's home and got to spend today with his Maker, his mother (how great is it that he only had to spend one holiday season on this earth without her?), and some of his dearest friends. Our friends who are spending their first holiday season without a loved one or their last with a loved one are never far from my thoughts or my prayers these days. Every moment we spend with our families is a precious one.
I'm also thankful for blood donors. :-) My mom's doing well after her blood transfusion. She's still pretty low on energy because this was a chemo week, but she was able to cook our turkey this morning. And she even ate a little bit of it! Next week is a no-chemo week. so we're super-thankful for that!
And I am so thankful for all of you who continue to lift up my mom and our family in prayer! Seriously, I thank God for you every day and I pray that He will do amazing things in your lives.
We are richly blessed.

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving, Callie!
My family is also thankful for blood donors! My dad received over 60 units of blood, plus at least 30 units of platelets, while he was sick. The generosity of blood donors gave us 19 weeks with him we wouldn't have otherwise had. :)
I hope your mom is feeling better every day!
Take care!
