24

Just thought I should let everyone know that I'm 24 now. And, as so many of my kind friends have pointed out to me today, that's old! To my annoying older brother: no, I'm not going to write a tribute to myself on my blog since it's my birthday, LOSER (hey Jared, if you make fun of the blog, you get called names on the blog).

As most of you know, with my birthday (actually 16 hours before my birthday) also comes the birthday of my dear friend Brooks. Here we are 24 years ago today.

I thought now would be a good time to formally annouce that Brooks has a blog! I added his link a while ago, but I don't know how many people saw it since I never mentioned it. He and his wife, Cari-Beth, recently moved back to town, and he started a blog to keep everyone updated on the changes going on in their lives. Click here to get to his blog.

And since you really can't tell how cute we were from the first picture, here's another one of us a few years later. ;-)

Happy birthday! I went to your facebook to say it, but then I realized you had a blog, so I figured I'd check it out & say it here. I've enjoyed reading your thoughts, particularly on the recent Lester street murders. I must admit that I had not allowed the killers to become real people in my heart & mind. As I think most people do, I demonized them. However, your post was right on. As Christians, we are called to love all people, especially those that no one else will. Very good thoughts & a very happy birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLIE!!! I always remember that your b-day is coming up right after Hunter and Jared's and then, like the loser friend I am, I forget to make a big whopping deal about it!

I can't believe how young you were when we met because you are STILL SO YOUNG! I forget that because you are so wise beyond your years!

I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you! Especially on your birthday!

XOXOX ALL OF US!

Callie,
You don't know me, but I got your blog address from you grandmother Frances' christmas letter. I grew up in Barlet and your mom and aunt Bernice used to babysit me when I was little!!! I am Angela Blackwood Seale and my parents are Jane and Gerry Blackwood. We all went to church together at Brownsville Road and I would go to Frances and Bill's house to play with Barbies when Bernice would babysit me...please tell your grandparents hello from my family please. And I am SURE you hear it all the time but you look just like BERNICE!!! My mom looked at your picture and thought you were her daughter, not Tricia's....

Thanks, Sam. Welcome to my blog. :-)

And thanks Leisha! You forget that I always forget when your birthday's coming up, too! It's okay. We can just be friends who forget each other's birthdays.

Hi Angela. Nice to "meet" you. I've never really thought I looked like anyone in particular, but I've heard that I look more like my Aunt Bernie than anyone else. However, over the past couple of years a few people have actually told me that that I look like my mom. Who knows.
