Happy Easter!

For the first time in a long time, we stayed home for Easter. Usually we spend it in Little Rock with Jared & Shelby (and I've been in Searcy the past 5 years). However, due to Mom's recent injury, we decided to stay home this year. As most of you probably already know, Mom had an unfriendly encounter with Jared & Shelby's front porch steps when we were there last weekend. She sprained one foot and one ankle (different legs) and is now in a walking boot. She'll begin physical therapy this week, but she's already so much better than she was this time last week.

Anyway, here are some pics of my dear younger siblings in their Easter attire. Kia's clutching her new Webkinz bunny in the picture above. I had hoped to get more (and better) shots of these two today, but Tekia was freezing and not really in a "posing" mood. I was just grateful to get them to stand by each other for a few seconds without fighting. :-)

"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!" Luke 24:1-6
