Seriously!
The last few days we've been preparing for a Saturday discharge (I was actually home getting ready to head back up to the hospital for the night when I heard the news), so we were all shocked when Dr. B came in a few hours ago and told Mom could go home tonight! Mom was so happy she cried. :-) We got home a couple of hours ago and I can already tell a difference in her spirits.
She's now tucked into her recliner for the night (lying flat in her bed would hurt her incision, and fortunately the recliner in our living room is way more comfortable than the one in her hospital room). She still has a long road ahead of her, but hopefully things will only go up from here!
Obviously, today was a good day. God is good. :-)

That is just great news....so thrilled for all of you....Tell your mom hi and our love and prayers continue for her recovery.....
