Again...not too much to report! Paw Paw had a good day today. Now that he's feeling better he's just so BORED! When Mom and I got there at 11am, he had already read the whole paper. Mom asked what he was going to do the rest of the day, and he replied, "Well, I don't really have any big plans." They're letting him get out of bed and sit in a recliner when he wants to, and he's still doing fine without his oxygen. Other than getting up to go the bathroom and sit in his chair, he isn't allowed to get up and walk. He loved his nurse today...he was her only patient so she had time to chat with him some. He also had some visitors, and I know he's glad to have someone to talk to! He's pretty much back to his old self...they served him barbecue for lunch and it was "the worst barbecue I ever tasted", haha.
He also met Dr. Gooch today and really like him; he said he was "impressive-lookin' and impressive-talkin'." His heart cath is scheduled for 9:00 Monday morning, and surgery is scheduled for noon. The surgery will probably take around 5 hours.
