pumpkin carving party!

At this time I would like to recognize Patty McDonald for hosting a simply marvelous pumpkin carving party at her home on Friday night. Below you will find pictures of this annual event. Shelby, the kids, and I got there late but still in time for the kids to carve some pumpkins! A good time was had by all. I should also mention that Patty graciously hosted this party on her own birthday! Way to go, Patty (and happy belated birthday!). Martha would be proud.

Chase preferred to sit back, relax, and show off his cheeks.
Keith and Mom had to take over for Hunter and Avery.

Ave and Papa admiring the pumpkins

from left to right: Kathy's, Avery's, Hunter's, Jane's, and Tekia's/Dad's

(You may have guessed by now that Patty requested this event be mentioned on my blog. But I would've mentioned it anyway!)

In all seriousness, I haven't been able to go the pumpkin carving the past few years and it was so nice to be back!

Thanks, Callie

You got a wonderful picture of me. I'm glad you got to come this year.

Love, Patty

That looks like such a festive and fun party. Avery's pretty hair kind of distracted me momentarily there, as did Chase's cheeks, but the pumpkins turned out just as cute!

That looks like great fun! Patty and Tricia are two of a kind...wonderful, entergetic, Christian women!
