Just a quick note to remind Team Tricia that my mom's next scan is tomorrow! (it will probably be today by the time you read this) This one is a PET scan and it's being done to follow up on those suspicious, maybe-growing-maybe-not lymph nodes in Mom's chest and abdomen (and of course to check for "hot spots" anywhere else). If you need to catch up, you can read the report from her last scan/check-up in January here.
The scan will probably happen between 8:00 and 9:00 tomorrow morning, but we won't get any results until we meet with Dr. Tauer on Wednesday afternoon. I repeat: we won't learn the results until Wednesday afternoon (i.e., don't freak out when there's no blog update tomorrow!). As usual, Mom will also have her tumor markers checked.
Pray that this scan will show no signs of metastasis anywhere in Trish's body...that these lymph nodes will be the same size or smaller and that there will be no surprises! Pray for normal tumor markers and other lab work. Pray for wisdom for Dr. T. Most of all, pray that God will reveal His glory through His answers to these prayers!
My mom and I just returned from a lovely little girls' trip to Dallas and Little Rock. I'm so thankful for every moment with her and so humbled to know that so many are covering her in prayer. Team Tricia is awesome. I'll keep y'all posted!

Praying sweet friend and so glad you and your mom had such a precious time together this weekend! Your family continues to inspire us and others as you continue to minister to the least even in the midst of trial. Keep going, keep moving forward! Hugs to you and miss seeing you!
Cynthia ( p.s. Mark and I enjoyed visiting with your dad yesterday!) Also continue praying for my mother to be cancer free as well, they took her off chemo last week due to complications but her numbers we down exactly where they needed to be..PTL! Love you! :-)
