prayers for Paw Paw, pretty please

Grandmother and Paw Paw at Christmas

My Paw Paw is scheduled to have yet another surgery tomorrow afternoon to repair bone spurs in his neck and nerve damage to his right arm. You may remember me posting in July about his last surgery, which was his neurologist's first attempt at fixing his problems. Before that surgery, his surgeon told him that they could try a second surgery if that one didn't work. Well, that one didn't work. Unfortunately, Paw Paw's arm/leg issues (he's pretty much lost all use of his right arm and leg) did not improve after that surgery and have actually gotten worse. He's begun to have pain in his arm and shoulder, and walking is becoming more and more difficult for him. So, tomorrow at 1pm (hopefully it will happen by then!), Paw Paw will have his second surgery. This surgery is a bit more invasive than the first. They'll go in through the front of his neck instead of the back, and they'll also be doing something in his arm and wrist.

Please pray for a safe and successful surgery, a safe hospital stay (we had some, um, "issues" at this hospital last time), and a quick recovery for Paw Paw. Thanks in advance!
